In order to ensure data protection legislation compliance, as part of our reseller program we require that all resellers, distributors and suppliers complete the attached Data Protection Agreement to ensure that all upstream and down stream communications, user data and access to customer information, where at times, both of our organizations may be in the role of the Data Controller or Data Processor. You may be familiar with similar concerns regarding personal data protection recently coming to light in the news affecting jurisdictions outside the EU so we’ve made the decision to implement the same data protection standards and policies legislated for the EU across the board in our organizations to protect all of our international user’s personal data even if your jurisdiction currently does not have National Data Protection legislation in place yet, as we are confident that more jurisdictions will follow suit and employ similar privacy legislation in the near future. Some of the updates we have made address the new requirements in the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as to how we manage and process personal data. The Privacy Statement governs our use of our customer's data in relation to our PDF-XChange brand products, communications, support and services. We would like to inform you that recently we have updated our Privacy Statement to comply with new Data Privacy laws in the European Union and several other countries around the world.
